Supporting Your Child’s Transition
From Home to Preschool
Starting preschool can feel like a big step for both children and parents. Our experienced team has supported hundreds of Petersfield families through this important transition, and we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible for your family.
Our Settling-In Process

Each child is assigned a key person who takes special responsibility for their care and development. This qualified practitioner builds a close relationship with your child and serves as your main point of contact.
Regular Communication
We maintain daily communication through verbal feedback, written observations, and learning journals that track your child’s progress and development.
Preparing for School
As children approach school age, we work closely with local primary schools in Petersfield to ensure a smooth transition. Our school readiness programme focuses on independence skills, following instructions, and social confidence that will serve them well in their reception year.
